Who we are
GetSUP is a non-commercial directory of Stand Up Paddle rental stations in Switzerland, operated by volunteers. We are the data controller for any personal data submitted through this site.
What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you actively send it to us through the contact form (your name, email address, and the contents of your message). Our hosting provider automatically logs technical data — IP address, browser, requested page — for security purposes. We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and reports only aggregated statistics (pages viewed, referring website, country, device type); it does not identify you or follow you across other websites. We do not use advertising or third-party behavioral tracking.
Why we collect it
Contact form data is used only to respond to your inquiry. Technical logs protect the site against abuse. Aggregated visit statistics help us understand which content is useful to visitors.
Who processes your data
Hosting, infrastructure and visit statistics: Vercel Inc. (United States). Contact form delivery: Web3Forms. Donation button settings: Cloudflare Inc. (United States), which receives your IP address when your browser loads them. Maps on station pages: Google LLC (United States) — the embedded Google Map loads directly from Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies; see Google's privacy policy. Vercel, Web3Forms and Cloudflare process data on our behalf under agreements consistent with Swiss FADP and EU GDPR; Google processes map data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep your data
Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, typically up to 12 months. Technical logs are typically rotated within 30 days by our providers.
Your rights
Under Swiss FADP and EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to file a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your national supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact form.
Terms of use
The station data on this site is compiled from public sources and direct contributions. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty about its completeness or current state. The site is provided as-is, free of charge, for personal use. Automated scraping or commercial republication of substantial parts of the directory is not permitted.
